Who are we?

We are an evangelical, Protestant church, committed to historic Christianity, and open to the guiding and gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Our principal focus is God - as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and knowing him personally through faith in Jesus.

However, how we meet is a bit different from many other churches.  We are a cell church, which means that the essential DNA of our church is cell groups.  The rhythm of our church is based on two levels of relationships: side-by-side, and face-to-face.  So, our church life looks like this...
  • On the first and third Sunday of each month, we gather all together for our Celebration Service (currently in the Stirling Senior School, on Sunday mornings at 9:30).  This is when we worship together with God as our focus, side-by-side.     Learn more about our celebration
  • On the second, fourth (and fifth) weekends, we meet in our cells.  These are groups of 10-30 people gathering together, often in a home or some other setting, to ‘do’ church: to worship in song, study God’s word, take Communion, share our lives with one another, and ask God how we can touch other lives in our community with his grace.  These cells allow us to know one another face-to-face.  Learn more about cells
We believe that these levels of "being together" encourage balanced spiritual growth. We strive to live out our freedom in Christ and seek to be transformed by him through personal and communal growth in prayer and our understanding and integration of the teachings of the Bible.Learn more about our beliefs

We also believe that the love Christ taught and lived is a characteristic of his followers, we thus value authentic relationships based on love rather than self-interest. Learn more about our values

The message of Christ was designed to be contagious and still remains so. By living our faith out in the open, by engaging in the broader community and in society and by thoughtfully living out our lives as followers of Christ, his message will remain contagious.

Our growth isn't measured by the size of our congregation, the number of events we organize or by the style of worship we practice but by making God the center of everything we do by engaging more deeply in the practices of prayer, of deepening our application the Bible, of engaging in authentic love and grace filled relationships with one another and in carrying the love of Christ into our community.Learn more about our approach

You are warmly invited to join us for any of these expressions of our church life.  We have a Sunday School program for children at our Celebration Services, and a teen cell, too.

May God richly bless you on your spiritual journey!
